The Doctoral Program in Public Administration is a doctoral-level academic program in public administration with a concentration in Public Management and Public Policy. It aims to produce academics in the field of public administration, high-level public administrators, high-level policy researchers and analysts, and policy consultants. The program is designed to develop in-depth theoretical understanding while equipping students with the analytical and practical skills necessary to contribute to effective governance. Adhering to the scientific vision of “DEVELOPING POLICIES AND VALUE-BASED GOVERNANCE IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION,” this program integrates global academic standards with relevant national and regional issues.

As a testament to its academic quality and excellence, the Doctoral Program in Public Administration has successfully established itself in a respected position internationally. According to the 2025 QS World University Rankings, Undip has seen significant improvement. Undip ranks 8th nationally, 31st in Southeast Asia, 134th in Asia, and 624th globally. Previously, in 2024, Undip ranked 791-800 according to the QS World University Rankings. Furthermore, according to Edurank’s 2025 ranking, the Public Policy/Administration program ranked 1st in Indonesia, 6th in Asia, and 170th globally. This achievement affirms the program’s reputation as a globally recognized reference institution. This strategic position not only attracts prospective students and high-caliber academics but also strengthens international networks, enabling broader research collaborations and knowledge exchange.
